Daniel is a painting that came from a personal study on the subject of prayer. Daniel was a man of great prayer. This prayer life of his was what landed him in the lion's den to begin with. Many people think that Daniel is praying for God's help in the moment captured in this painting, but he actually is praising God for answering the prayers of deliverance he had offered up to God before being thrown into the lion's den. This is a painting that reminds us of God's faithfulness.
